JB Gill has been flooded with support as he shared an 'exciting' announcement with fans away from the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom. The JLS star has been juggling a number of commitments while training for the BBC One dance contest with Amy Dowden and Lauren Oakley.
However, he's set to add another project to them. While he hopes to get all the way to the end of Strictly's 2024 series, which is also its 20th-anniversary series, it has been revealed that JB won't be just on the small screen dancing to millions but also entertaining people in the coming weeks over the airwaves - and not just with his JLS tracks.
Hits Radio has announced that he will be covering The Hits UK Chart show from this Sunday (November 17th). Whilst regular host Sam Thompson is back Down Under for this year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here's new spin-off show, JB will be sitting in the hot seat and bringing the nation the forty biggest tracks of the week.

While the singer - and farmer - is no stranger to the charts, but this will be the first time that he’s been counting them down rather than listening out for his own chart position.
JB said: "What an honour to be covering for my mate Sam whilst he’s in Australia for I’m a Celeb… I have listened to the charts ever since I was a little kid and I’m going to get such a kick out of hosting the show and revealing that all-important number one to listeners. Hope you can all join me from this Sunday to countdown the UK’s biggest hits!"
JB, who will hosts the show until Sam's return from Australia after the I'm A Celeb final on December 8. also shared the news on Instagram and said: "I’m SO excited to be joining the @hitsradiouk family covering the Hits UK Chart show for my boy @samthompsonuk while he’s down under for @imacelebrity!
"I’m no stranger to the charts but I can’t wait to count down the week’s hottest hits as chosen by YOU and playing that all-important number one so be sure to join me @hitsradiouk from this Sunday 17th November at 4pm to countdown the UK’s biggest hits!!"
And it appears that's not going to be all as a member of his talent agency reshared the post and said: "The first of many exciting things in the pipeline, and another career goal ticked off the bucked list for @jbgill!"

You’re gonna smash it..well done," while Aston Merrygold replied: "Jheeeeeze gwarn broski."
