Empty offices close to one of Stockport's busy high streets could be turned into new apartments.
Weavers' Yard, based off Stockport Road near the M60 in Cheadle, was built in the 1980s and was formerly known as Lambert House.
It was used by the AA until 2022 when the company moved to its current offices at Park Square in Cheadle Heath.

Plans for the site could see it converted into a total of 107 flats spread across the two existing blocks, with a mix of one and two-bedroom homes.
A 'bespoke fitted' gym could be part of the design for block A, with open spaces for residents to join group classes and views looking out to Abney Hall Park which is based next to the buildings.
The area is a short walk from Cheadle High Street, where there are a mix of shops and eateries, as well as plans to build a new train station by the end of next year with connections to Manchester Piccadilly.
Stockport has an urgent need for more housing, with the borough facing rising levels of homelessness and at least eight thousand people waiting on its housing register, which has a maximum waiting time of 12 years.
A planning application for the work at Weavers' Yard has been submitted to Stockport council by Coventry-based firm Xpercity LH Limited, with a decision on the plans expected by the end of December.
Planning documents submitted with the application do not say if the scheme will include any affordable apartments - homes priced below market rates.
Council officers will review the plans and give a recommendation on whether they should be given the green light, with the final decision due to be taken by councillors at a planning committee meeting.
