Emmerdale fans can gear up for fresh excitement as it's been revealed that two fresh faces are poised to shake things up in the village as Ruby Milligan's long-lost father Anthony and her daughter Stephanie are set to arrive.

Actor Nicholas Day will be stepping into the shoes of Anthony, who has been estranged from his daughter Ruby for many years, while actress Georgia Jay takes on the role of Steph, who similarly has a distant relationship with her parents Ruby and Caleb. The impending arrival of these characters teases potential upheavals in Ruby's life, hinting at high drama ahead.

77-year-old Nicholas Day is no stranger to our screens, with an array of appearances in hits like Minder and The Crown, giving viewers plenty reason to recognise him. Meanwhile, Georgia Jay also known by her real name Georgina Philipps is known for her portrayal of Dianne Vickers in Giri/Haji on BBC.
