The days of counting down the days to Christmas with a daily dose of chocolate are long gone. Nowadays, there are countless of fun ways to mark the occasion - with beauty, beer and toy advent calendars being all the rage.
LEGO's advent calendars are always snapped up quite quickly by fans, but they're certainly not the cheapest. This year, the iconic toy brand has released Star Wars, Harry Potter, Spider-Man and Disney advent calendars, as well as the more traditional LEGO City and LEGO Friends versions, with prices totting up to £30.
Fortunately, we've spotted a way to bag one of these calendars for as little as 20p. By stacking one of Argos pre-Black Friday deals with a limited time offer by well-known bargains website TopCashback, the most popular of the calendars, devoted to LEGO Star Wars, works out at £7.80, reports the Mirror.

The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar was initially priced at £30 on Argos but has been reduced by 20% taking it down to £24. But with TopCashback giving savvy shoppers who sign up for a free account a new members £15 sign up bonus, plus extra cashback for shopping from Argos, new customers can snag the calendar for £7.80 while existing customers can get it for £8.80. This year's calendar includes Star Wars vehicles and six limited edition collectable mini figures, featuring Christmas-themed characters such as Luke Skywalker in a Christmas jumper, Ahsoka, Princess Leia, a battle droid, a Stormtrooper, and one of the evil Emperor’s private guards. There are also 18 different mini-builds to complete each day, including an X-Wing, AT-AT, Jabba’s Barge and many more.

It’s got 24 surprises in total, one for each day. They are in chronological order covering 1999 to 2024 and made up of different things from 25 years of Lego Star Wars.
"There are 18 mini builds to build which for my seven-year-old were easy to build, as when you open the door the simple build instruction picture shows you which bits go where. A great selection of five mini figures. My son loves the fact that Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker both have Christmas Star War themed jumpers on.
"There is also a super battle droid too. It’s great for creative play and story making for the children and for the adults it’s a look back at historic Star Wars Lego vehicles and objects throughout the 25 years. Would highly recommend and it’s something that can be played with way after Christmas on its own or with other Lego sets."
The space-themed calendar is one of six LEGO calendars currently available which could be snagged with the discount - LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Spider-Man, LEGO Disney, LEGO Friends and LEGO City. The latter two work out even cheaper with the deal - they were originally priced at £20 and have been reduced to £16 meaning when the TopCashback offer is applied they cost just 20p for new Argos customers and 87p for existing ones.
