A Metrolink line in Tameside is blocked this morning after a crash between a tram and a car.
The line is currently blocked between the Velopark and Ashton-under-Lyne stops, according to the Bee Network. No trams are running between these stops in both directions.
Eyewitnesses have reported that the crash happened on Manchester Road, near the Snipe pub and retail park and Audenshaw tram stop. The road is believed to have been reopened now after being blocked for a short time earlier.
