2025 is gearing up to be an exciting year for the live music and entertainment scene in the North West, with a slate of shows already pencilled in for the spring and summer months.
This includes anticipated solo gigs by The Who’s frontman Roger Daltrey, a visit from Lancashire-born comedian Paddy McGuinness, Wigan four-piece The Lathums, and more.

The Lathums - O2 Apollo, Manchester

The Lathums have revealed news of a new album and touring plans for 2025, following the release of new music with ‘Jamaican Ale-fuelled’ single, ‘Stellar Cast’. With two consecutive number one Official UK Album Chart albums already to their name, ‘Matter Does Not Define’ is set for release on March 7, 2025, and sees the opening credits roll on the four-piece’s third, thrilling season.
Having seen out a summer of landmark shows, including domestic and overseas main stage festival appearances, and their own sold-out 11,500-capacity gig at Wigan’s Robin Park, the band are set to bring the love once again on one of their biggest tours to date, opening in Glasgow on March 13, 2025, with a second show recently announced at Manchester’s O2 Apollo due to demand.

Roger Daltrey - The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester

Legendary rock singer Roger Daltrey will be hitting the road in 2025 on a special solo tour packed with classic The Who songs, solo hits and his now-famous Q&A sessions, in which he opens up to the fans who have been with him throughout the decades.
In a run of unmissable intimate shows, including one in Manchester, Roger will perform acoustic and semi-acoustic takes on gems from the legendary band and delve into a solo back catalogue that dates back nearly 50 years.
Accompanied by his incredible nine-piece band, the acclaimed group consists of regular The Who collaborator Simon Townshend (guitar/vocals) alongside John Hogg (bass), Doug Boyle (guitar), Steve Weston (harmonica), Jody Linscott (percussion), Billy Nicholls (BV), Katie Jacoby (violin), Geraint Watkins (keyboard), and Scott Devours (drums).

Louis Dunford - Albert Hall, Manchester

Having just announced his debut album, ‘Be Lucky’ - out February 14, 2025 - Louis Dunford has announced his biggest headline tour to date. In support of the album release, the upcoming tour will hit 15 cities across the UK and Dublin, including a show at Manchester’s Albert Hall.
Louis Dunford is best known for singles ‘Lucy,’ ‘Boys Do Cry,’ ‘When We Were Hooligans,’ and ‘The Angel (North London Forever)’ - which was adopted by Arsenal FC fans as their official club anthem. Fan favourites ‘Lucy’ and ‘The Angel’ will also appear on Louis’ debut record next year.
In a short space of time, Louis has earned widespread acclaim and support from key tastemakers including i-D, Clash, Complex, British GQ, and Wonderland. His meteoric rise to success has seen him perform sold-out shows at iconic venues such as O2 Kentish Town Forum, Eventim Apollo, Union Chapel, and Electric Ballroom. He was also personally invited by The Libertines to support the band at their massive Wembley Arena show in the summer of 2022. Since 2021, he’s sold over a staggering 25,000 tickets.
